SPINNING TOP SET
This is a spinning top set which I designed and made in my 2nd year of my degree at Rycotewood Furniture Centre. The tray is made from workshop offcuts of ash with a a grey painted MDF base. The leaning back angle of the sides of the tray allow the spinning tops to continue to spin even after hitting the edge.
The spinning tops themselves are made from either workshop offcuts or OSB which I made myself using wood chips from the workshop dust extraction in order to repurpose waste timber.
DOVETAILED CANDLE BOX
This Candle Box is made from solid American black walnut and Maple from Surrey Timbers. The box is made using traditional hand-cut dovetails. The scented candles are also homemade. This beautiful presentation box, and the colourful scented candles provides a warm, sensory and relaxing ornament for the home.
