WALNUT DRESSING TABLE

A handmade dressing table / writing desk made from American black walnut and rippled sycamore. The dressing table features two dovetailed drawers and a bevelled oval mirror which floats inside a frame. The angle of the mirror can be adjusted and the mirror can also be turned around while the piece is used as a writing desk. 

The dressing table features two drawers constructed using hand-cut dovetails. The drawer bottoms are lined with genuine black leather to match the black leather work pad. The drawer pulls are made from solid brass.

This piece won the 'Best in Show' awarded by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers at the Rycotewood Furniture Summer Exhibition.

The Walnut Dressing Table was also nominated and shortlisted for the 2022 Young Furniture Makers Bespoke Award.
